When you are looking for something or finding solutions to your computer related problems, you normally just Google it. However, Google search results give you random list of sites ranked in the order Google thinks they are relevant to your needs. This is indeed an intelligent search ranking to ensure that you will get what you really want for your search.

My friend was working as a Pet Specialist for Cats and Dogs in the world’s leading Question and Answer site called http://JustAnswer.com. This site is is full of top-notch professionals who help customers in various categories of questions. The customers pay to post a question, then the experts in their specific categories will answer and help the customers. Once the customer is satisfied, he will accept the answer or rate the professional assisting him and that is the time the professional gets paid.

However, as she related it to me, during a major revamp of the site’s policy and on their goal to ensure maximum quality for professionals helping customers, the site ran a survey and based on the survey results, many experts were removed from a category. She was one of them and lost the Cat category.

Since she was a full time online worker, not employed locally, she was in trouble income-wise because of her removal. Instead of deciding to look for a local job and become a part-time worker at http://justanswer.com, she decided to look for websites LIKE justanswer.com where she can help people while earning a reasonable amount of money and still become a full time worker at justanswer.com.

This is where she used the Similar Sites tool. Go to http://www.similarsites.com/ and there you can look for similar sites on a site that you will be basing the comparison from. In this case, she searched for sites similar to JustAnswer.com.

Here is a sample screen shot:

When you click on the discover button, you see sites similar to the website that you entered and they are ranked according to their similarity, relevance and popularity.

Hiya! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know
how to make your site mobile friendly? My website looks weird when viewing from my apple iphone.
I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to
correct this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.
    Appreciate it!
