Why a Reset is Necessary?

As you are using your computer, over time, it accumulates tons of temporary internet file, orphaned files, outdated cookies and other cached data. Also, when you install programs, it might add functionality to your web browsers - also called plugins or add-ons. As a result, your browser like Firefox can become faulty.

In this case, a reset is required to unload all previous settings done or added by other installed programs and restore the default settings that will surely work.

How to Reset Firefox

If you have a Menu Bar of your Firefox

  1. Click on the Help menu
  2. Then click on "Troubleshooting Information"

  3. In the bew tab that opens, click on the "Reset Firefox..." button at the top right corner.

  1. Click on the orange Firefox menu / button.
  2. Point to Help
  3. Then click on "Troubleshooting Information"
